Description

You will manage the development, configuration, and support of SCADA and MES systems at our Spartanburg facility.

Responsibilities

• Execute SCADA and MES development, configuration, and tag database generation.
• Provide hands-on production support during the first shift to ensure system uptime.
• Collaborate with internal and external teams to design and implement integrations with PLCs, JDE, and other systems.
• Analyze system performance and implement improvements to data security, integrity, and recovery controls.

Required Skills

• 3-5 years of experience as a SCADA or MES engineer or developer.
• Direct experience with the Ignition platform and Sepasoft platform.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, Jython, C, C++, Visual Basic, and SQL.
• Working knowledge of Rockwell or Siemens PLCs, OPC-UA, and MQTT protocols.
• Experience with Windows Server administration.
• Strong scripting background for system implementation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience using REST, SOAP, XML-RPC, JSON-RPC APIs, and Web Services.
• Knowledge of OEE concepts, Track and Trace technologies, and ERP system integration.
