Description

You will design, configure, and implement SCADA systems using PowerOn Reliance and C++.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement SCADA systems by developing custom modules, libraries, and components in C++.
• Configure PowerOn Reliance applications, develop HMI screens, and create complex logic and control algorithms.
• Integrate SCADA systems with field devices including PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs using C++ programming techniques.
• Identify and resolve technical issues, conduct routine maintenance, and manage system upgrades or software patching.
• Implement security measures and secure coding practices to protect systems from cyber threats.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a SCADA Engineer.
• In-depth proficiency with PowerOn Reliance software.
• Strong C++ programming expertise for custom module development and system integration.
• Experience integrating systems with PLCs, RTUs, and IEDs.
• Knowledge of SCADA protocols such as DNP3 and Modbus.
• Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices and secure coding in C++.
• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• Proven ability to manage project plans, timelines, and technical risks.
