Description

Develop and deliver advanced Power Systems Application software to meet corporate commitments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Electric Utilities, ISOs, and TSOs on functional software specifications.
• Design, code, test, integrate, tune, and deliver SCADA/EMS applications.
• Implement fixes on live customer systems and resolve identified issues.
• Perform problem analysis, identification, and resolution for system failures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience customizing and delivering Network or Transmission Applications.
• 5 years of experience with Linux and Windows Operating Systems.
• 5 years of experience with C and Java programming.
• Proficiency in Electric Transmission EMS / SCADA implementation.
• Experience with Oracle Database SQL and PL/SQL.
• Hands-on experience with GitHub and ClearCase.
• 5 years of experience on Realtime or Mission Critical Systems.
• Experience with Object-Oriented programming techniques.
• Familiarity with Oracle, NetApp, and system administration tasks.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GE Reliance (XA21) EMS/SCADA or equivalent systems from Siemens, OSI, ABB, Schneider.
• Knowledge of Power DMS/TMS and data modelling.
