Description

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of SCADA engineering, from requirements gathering and development to deployment and ongoing field support.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, deploy, and support SCADA systems including WonderWare and Ignition.
• Collaborate with field engineers, data managers, and developers to build solutions for upstream unconventional business problems.
• Integrate well site, salt water disposal, and compressor site data into SCADA systems for alarm historizing, trending, and display.
• Maintain and support process controls for plants and facilities using corporate-driven standard solutions.
• Participate in a rotational 7-day on-call schedule to support production assets.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting SCADA or automation control systems.
• Proficiency with SCADA platforms such as WonderWare, Ignition, AutoSol (ACM), or XSPOC.
• Experience with firewall platforms including Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, or Eagle One.
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and MS SQL.
• Experience with WonderWare software suites including IAS, InTouch, and InSQL.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interfacing with field I&E staff and development teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and deploying Ignition screens using Python.
• Prior experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of RTUs (ROC, TotalFlow), PLCs, and HMI hardware (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE).
