Description

You will own the end-to-end lifecycle of SCADA engineering, from requirements gathering and deployment to ongoing field support.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect, implement, and support SCADA systems using WonderWare and Ignition platforms.
• Integrate well site, salt water disposal, and compressor site data for alarm historizing, trending, and display.
• Maintain process controls for plants and facilities using corporate-driven standard solutions.
• Collaborate with field engineers and developers to solve upstream unconventional business problems.
• Participate in a rotational 7-day on-call schedule to support production assets.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of experience developing, deploying, and supporting SCADA or automation control systems.
• Proficiency with WonderWare suites (IAS, InTouch, InSQL) or Ignition.
• Experience with firewall platforms: Cisco ASA, Cisco FTD, Palo Alto, or Eagle One.
• Technical knowledge of Microsoft server operating systems and MS SQL.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a collaborative environment.
• Strong written and oral communication skills for interfacing with field staff.

Preferred Skills

• Experience building and deploying Ignition screens using Python.
• Prior experience in the upstream oil and gas industry.
• Knowledge of RTUs (ROC, TotalFlow), PLCs, and HMI hardware (Allen-Bradley, Modicon, GE).
