Description

You will develop and enhance applications using Scala and big data technologies, owning the design, implementation, and release pipeline.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Partner with management to integrate functions and define system enhancements for new product deployment.
• Resolve high-impact problems by evaluating complex business and system processes.
• Provide expertise in application programming, ensuring design aligns with the overall architecture.
• Develop standards for coding, testing, debugging, and implementation practices.
• Coach mid-level developers and analysts, allocating work as needed.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in applications development and programming.
• Expert-level proficiency in Scala.
• Strong command of Spark Core and Spark SQL.
• Experience with HDFS Architecture, Hive, Apache Oozie, and Apache Airflow.
• Proficiency with Git and Jenkins for CI/CD implementation.
• Solid SQL skills for data integration and complex query writing.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
