Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Java and Scala. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and enhance microservices-based architectures.
• Develop APIs and integrate with external and internal systems.
• Process big data using real-time pipelines and distributed frameworks.
• Ensure application scalability, security, and reliability.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline setup and automation.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience in Java (8+) and Scala development.
• Solid understanding of data structures, algorithms, and OOP concepts.
• Experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, and Microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with functional programming concepts in Scala.
• Experience with Kafka, Spark, or other distributed processing frameworks.
• Strong knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP).
• Working knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Git, Maven/Gradle).

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
• Experience collaborating with business stakeholders and QA teams.
