Description

You will develop and maintain large-scale Scala applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Write idiomatic Scala code using functional programming concepts.
• Manage migrations from Scala 2.11 to newer versions.
• Upgrade existing frameworks and libraries within large codebases.
• Troubleshoot and debug migration-related issues.
• Implement unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.

Required Skills

• 3.5+ years of hands-on Scala programming experience.
• Proficiency with Scala 2.11 and newer versions.
• Experience with the Play Framework.
• Experience with Akka.
• Understanding of functional programming principles.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and dependency management.
• Ability to work with large-scale codebases.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with modern Scala versions (3.x).
