Description

You will develop and maintain large-scale data processing applications using Scala and the Spark ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build Spark applications using Scala and Spark SQL.
• Develop distributed computing solutions for large-scale data processing.
• Write, debug, and maintain Java code within a big data environment.
• Manage code and deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile development environment.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Hands-on development with Apache Spark and Spark SQL.
• Proficiency in Scala and Java coding.
• Experience with Hadoop and HDFS.
• Knowledge of distributed computing frameworks.
• Experience with Git and BitBucket for version control.
• Experience using Gradle for build automation.
• Experience with Jenkins for CI/CD pipelines.
• Working knowledge of Jira and Confluence.
