Description

You will build and maintain server-side components and high-performance applications using Scala.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop, debug, and maintain server-side network components and back-end services.
• Design customer-facing UI and integrate elements with front-end developers.
• Ensure optimal performance of central databases and responsiveness to front-end requests.
• Write testable, reusable, and efficient code to implement security protocols and data protection.
• Run diagnostic tests, repair defects, and document processes and database schemas.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional experience in software development.
• At least 4 years of experience specifically in Scala development.
• Hands-on experience with Play and Akka frameworks.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and Docker.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins or Travis CI.
• Extensive knowledge of JavaScript, jQuery, and XML.
• Strong command of front-end technologies including HTML5 and CSS3.
• Experience with web servers such as Apache or Weblogic.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Oracle and MySQL databases.
• Knowledge of UI/UX design principles.
