Description

You will design, build, and maintain Scala-based applications and data pipelines for account master data.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain Scala applications focused on account master data.
• Build and manage data pipelines using batch and streaming technologies.
• Process and validate large datasets to support business intelligence use cases.
• Deploy data engineering solutions directly into production environments.
• Work with streaming technologies to handle large volumes of enterprise data.

Required Skills

• 4-5 years of professional experience with Scala.
• 4-5 years of experience with Spark, including both batch and streaming.
• 4-5 years of experience with Kafka message queues.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including S3, EC2, and EMR.
• Proficiency in SQL for managing and querying datasets.
• Proven track record of working with large-scale data in enterprise environments.
• Experience in social media, banking, or e-commerce sectors.
• Ability to work in a hybrid capacity, 3 days per week in the Denver office.

Preferred Skills

• Experience deploying data engineering pipelines to production.
