Description

You will develop and maintain microservices for core banking transformation projects using Scala and the Akka framework.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Scala and Akka, ensuring adherence to established development processes.
• Own the delivery of technical deliverables and assigned tasks within established schedules.
• Identify technical issues proactively and report status to the Tech Lead.
• Recommend and implement technical solutions as a hands-on contributor.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of hands-on experience with Scala and the Akka Framework.
• Strong understanding of Akka Streams.
• Experience designing and developing microservices using Event-driven Architecture.
• Proficiency with gRPC protocol and Protocol Buffers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Experience with IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions on cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of message brokers and cloud-native applications.
• Experience with Test Driven Development (TDD), unit testing, and Behavior Driven Development (BDD).
• Proficiency with Jira, Confluence, Ansible, and Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python.
• Experience integrating with third-party applications.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies and configuration management.
