Description

Build real-time data processing systems and RESTful microservices using Scala.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop real-time data processing pipelines and RESTful microservices.
• Maintain and support existing services using Akka HTTP and Akka Streams.
• Collaborate on technical architecture, tool selection, and process improvements.
• Perform code reviews and provide feedback to maintain high software quality.
• Champion TDD and pair programming to ensure clean, resilient, and scalable code.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala and the Typelevel stack.
• Hands-on experience with Akka HTTP and Akka Streams.
• Experience with Kafka and Cassandra.
• Practical knowledge of Kubernetes.
• Experience working within GCP or AWS environments.
• Familiarity with DevOps and GitOps principles.
• Ability to work effectively within cross-functional agile teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience evolving personalization services using machine learning.
