Description

You will design and implement scalable data solutions using Scala and Spark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Define strategic and tactical technical solutions based on business needs.
• Document technical designs following Agile standards.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and lineage tasks.
• Write unit tests using automated BDD frameworks and validate solutions.
• Maintain regression test suites and adopt automated release processes.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scala developer.
• Proficiency in Apache Spark for data processing.
• Strong SQL skills for RDBMS, specifically DB2.
• Minimum 2 years of experience with HDFS platform development.
• Ability to optimize code for performance, scalability, and configurability.
• Experience working within Agile project environments.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Azure Cloud services.
