Description

Develop and maintain database-driven applications while supporting software modernization initiatives.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain database-driven applications using SQL and DB2.
• Support software modernization and migration activities.
• Participate in Agile development processes, code reviews, and continuous improvement.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and database issues.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software development.
• Strong proficiency in RDBMS, SQL, and hands-on DB2 database development.
• Experience with Java EE, Spring, and Gradle.
• Exposure to Scala development.
• Knowledge of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and ETL processes.
• Familiarity with VS Code and GitHub Copilot.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python or other scripting languages.
• Knowledge of Jenkins and Data Warehouse/Data Lake reporting concepts.
• Familiarity with JIRA and Agile ceremonies.
