Description

You will develop and optimize data processing applications using Scala and Spark.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Write and optimize Scala code for performance, scalability, and configurability.
• Develop applications within HDFS platform environments.
• Execute SQL queries and manage data on RDBMS platforms like DB2.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and lineage tracking.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience as a Scala and Spark developer.
• At least 2 years of experience in HDFS platform development projects.
• Strong SQL writing skills specifically for RDBMS (DB2).
• Proficiency in data analysis and data profiling.
• Experience managing data lineage.
• Ability to optimize code for high-performance distributed computing.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
