Description

You will build big data solutions for financial crime prevention by designing, developing, and optimizing Scala and Spark code.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and optimize Scala and Spark code within the big data platform.
• Translate business requirements into technical solutions by collaborating with stakeholders.
• Perform data analysis, profiling, and lineage tracking.
• Conduct automated unit testing, regression testing, and support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Contribute to DevOps CI/CD pipelines within Agile (SCRUM) teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on Scala and Spark development experience.
• Strong SQL expertise with DB2 or RDBMS.
• 2+ years of experience in HDFS-based projects.
• Proven ability in performance optimization and designing scalable solutions.
• Strong data analysis skills and Agile project experience.

Preferred Skills

• Azure experience.
• Familiarity with Actimize or Big Data Certifications.
