Description

You will architect, code, and support enterprise applications within an AWS ecosystem, taking end-to-end ownership of the application lifecycle.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop enterprise-quality backend applications using Scala.
• Write hands-on code for backend API development and deployment.
• Manage and deploy applications within AWS cloud environments.
• Take full ownership of the application lifecycle from design to support.
• Collaborate effectively with teams across multiple time zones.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of JVM-based application development experience.
• 3+ years of Scala backend API development experience.
• 5+ years of hands-on development in AWS cloud environments.
• Experience with Scala frameworks such as Cats, ZIO, or Akka.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proven ability to design, develop, install, and support enterprise applications.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills for cross-team collaboration.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.
