Description

You will develop data pipelines and manage data architecture using Scala and Databricks.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain data streaming pipelines using Databricks.
• Design data models and manage pipeline orchestration.
• Implement data architecture patterns within cloud environments.
• Support external clients in technical, client-facing capacities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional Scala experience with advanced proficiency (self-rated 8/10 minimum).
• Hands-on experience with Databricks streaming.
• Strong knowledge of Delta Lake and Lakehouse patterns.
• Solid understanding of data modeling and architecture.
• Experience working with cloud environments and tools.
• Proven background in pipeline orchestration.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with Unity Catalog for metadata management, access control, and governance.
• Exposure to data governance and compliance requirements.
