Description

You will act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) in Scala, owning the design, maintenance, and release of high-performing distributed services.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable distributed systems using Scala.
• Write, review, and test intricate code to ensure reliability and performance.
• Act as a technical SME, guiding engineering standards and best practices.
• Optimize service performance and resolve complex architectural challenges.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 2 years dedicated to Scala.
• Extensive knowledge of distributed systems architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Proven ability to master multiple software engineering areas and database environments.
• Experience designing high-performing services.
• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and review processes.
