Description

You will build and maintain Scala and PySpark business applications and runtime platforms on cloud infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop Scala/PySpark cloud-based business applications and runtime platforms.
• Build libraries and tools for application development and operations.
• Implement next-generation technologies to improve existing systems.
• Contribute to open source software within the Scala ecosystem.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Scala and PySpark.
• Strong experience in functional programming.
• Experience with cloud platforms, preferably Azure.
• Proficiency with build tools such as Ant, Maven, or sbt.
• Experience using IntelliJ for development.
• Experience working in Unix-based environments.
• Any Graduate degree.
