You will design, maintain, and release scalable distributed services as a Scala Subject Matter Expert.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain scalable distributed systems using Scala.
• Write, review, and test intricate code to ensure reliability.
• Guide engineering standards and best practices as a technical SME.
• Optimize service performance and resolve complex architectural challenges.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of software engineering experience.
• At least 2 years dedicated to Scala development.
• Extensive knowledge of distributed systems architecture.
• Strong proficiency in Java.
• Experience designing high-performing services.
• Proven ability to master multiple software engineering areas and database environments.
• Strong focus on code quality, testing, and review processes.
