Description

Design and maintain scalable backend applications and microservices using Scala and functional programming principles.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain backend services, microservices, and RESTful APIs.
• Optimize system performance for low latency and high availability.
• Integrate applications with SQL and NoSQL databases and third-party APIs.
• Write unit and integration tests and participate in code reviews to ensure maintainability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering.
• Strong proficiency in Scala and functional programming.
• Experience with Apache Spark.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Proficiency with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or Cassandra.
• Experience with cloud infrastructure including AWS or GCP.
• Working knowledge of Git for version control.
• Degree in any graduate field.
