Build and maintain scalable backend systems using Scala.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality code for distributed systems.
• Own the full development lifecycle from design to deployment.
• Conduct thorough code reviews to maintain engineering standards.
• Mentor junior developers to improve team technical capabilities.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Scala and Functional Programming.
• Experience building and consuming REST microservices.
• Solid understanding of RDBMS and SQL, specifically PostgreSQL.
• Experience with DevOps practices and automated testing.
• Familiarity with Cloud environments.
• Any Graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with the Play framework.
• Knowledge of Kafka or Message Queuing (MQ) systems.
• Experience with AWS.
