Description

You will build and maintain data lakes and pipelines within a globally distributed team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build data lakes and pipelines in the cloud using Azure and Databricks.
• Develop secure, clean, and stable code following industry best practices.
• Support and maintain existing strategic applications.
• Manage the full development lifecycle including CI/CD pipelines.
• Prioritize deliverables across multiple projects using agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software delivery.
• Hands-on experience as a software engineer using Scala.
• Expertise in Big Data technologies including Spark, Databricks, and Hadoop/ADLS.
• Experience with cloud platforms, specifically Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Proficiency with source-controlled environments like GitHub or Subversion.
• Strong knowledge of data warehousing, including Star schema and Snowflaking designs.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server BI stack (SSAS/SSIS) and Multidimensional or Tabular models.
• Background in financial services.
