Description

You will lead the development of microservices in Scala for NextGen transformation and professional services projects.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop microservices using Scala and the Akka framework.
• Design and implement event-driven microservices architectures.
• Write tests using Test Driven Development, unit testing, and Behavior Driven Development.
• Manage containerized deployments using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Utilize infrastructure as code tools to support cloud-native applications.

Required Skills

• 4 to 8 years of recent hands-on experience with Scala and the Akka framework.
• Deep understanding of Akka Streams.
• Experience with gRPC protocol and Protocol Buffers.
• Hands-on experience with Docker containers and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency with Terraform and Ansible.
• Experience with AWS cloud platforms, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS solutions.
• Knowledge of message brokers and event-driven architecture.
• Experience with scripting languages including Batch and Bash.
• Familiarity with Jira and Confluence.

Preferred Skills

• Python programming experience.
• Experience integrating with third-party applications.
• Agile methodology knowledge and configuration management experience.
