Description

Lead Scala development and architectural decisions for desktop-driven applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions within the Azure stack, specifically using Spark on Synapse.
• Manage the full lifecycle of desktop-driven Scala applications with minimal supervision.
• Mentor team members on OOP concepts, code modularity, and reusability.
• Own technical depth of the JVM and JAR file management within the environment.
• Articulate technical issues and implement clear resolutions through effective communication.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional programming experience.
• Expert-level proficiency in Scala.
• Deep understanding of JVM architecture.
• Strong command of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) concepts.
• Experience developing with Spark on Azure Synapse.
• In-depth knowledge of JAR files and their implementation.
• Ability to work independently as a technical lead.
