Build and improve core back-end communication services, processing pipelines, and storage platforms. Optimize performance, parallelization, and scalability for high-traffic data demands. Solve complex architectural problems by creating maintainable, scalable solutions. Manage high-volume data pipelines and high-availability queuing systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data-driven applications and processing pipelines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of programming experience with Java or PHP.
• Strong proficiency in SQL, specifically MySQL.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, ActiveMQ, or ZooKeeper.
• Experience with Hadoop.
• Proficiency with Unix/Linux and scripting.
• Background in building high-volume data pipelines or queuing systems.
• Experience with batch data processing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with high-volume email systems.
• Familiarity with Lucene or Solr.
