You will build and maintain data processing applications using Scala and Spark.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain Spark-based data processing applications.

• Deploy artifacts across environments to ensure smooth transitions.
• Troubleshoot and debug Spark performance issues to optimize processing.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data development.
• Strong proficiency in Scala programming.
• Expertise in Spark development and application optimization.
• Ability to troubleshoot and debug Spark performance.
• Solid understanding of design patterns and data structures for efficient processing.
• Proficiency in SQL and database concepts.
• Experience with Big Data technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Java, Python, or Databricks.
• Knowledge of Snowflake and DevOps practices.
• Familiarity with test-driven deployment.
