Description

You will develop and implement orchestrations to automate bioprocess and analytical workflows using mechanical robotics and liquid handlers.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation protocols to integrate robotics and liquid handling systems.
• Collaborate with analytical and process development subject matter experts to build automation capabilities.
• Manage automation protocol validation, troubleshooting, and lifecycle management.
• Drive lab automation experiments independently.

Required Skills

• Strong expertise in programming SCARA robots.
• 5+ years of experience in automation or related technical roles.
• Proficiency in Python, Perl, R, or C++.
• Proven troubleshooting skills in a technical environment.
• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Master’s or Ph.D. degree.
• Experience operating automatic liquid handling systems like Tecan.
• Knowledge of bioanalytical instruments such as HPLC, plate readers, or spectrometers.
