Description

You will execute daily molecular biology experiments, including NGS and qPCR workflows, and present results to the team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute detail-oriented experiments using next-generation sequencing (NGS) and quantitative PCR (qPCR) technologies.
• Perform data analysis and present findings during group meetings.
• Maintain laboratory notebooks and adhere to strict protocol guidelines.
• Follow complex molecular biology protocols with high attention to detail.
• Conduct DNA and RNA purification and quantitation.

Required Skills

• B.S. with at least 3 years of experience in an academic or industrial laboratory, or an M.S. with 2 years.
• Hands-on experience with DNA and RNA purification and quantitation.
• Proficiency in PCR and quantitative PCR (qPCR).
• Knowledge of next-generation sequencing (NGS) workflows.
• Fundamental molecular biology laboratory knowledge.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for technical presentations.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working in a clean room or PCR preparation hood.
• Experience making libraries for next-generation sequencing.
• Background in IVD product development, clinical genetic testing, or core laboratory facilities.
