Description

Facilitate agile delivery and coaching within a data engineering context using the SAFe framework.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Sprint Planning, Daily Stand-ups, Refinement, Retrospectives, and Sprint Reviews.
• Lead the team in adopting SAFe core values, principles, and practices to improve quality, predictability, and velocity.
• Eliminate impediments, protect the team from outside interruptions, and manage dependency and risk logs.
• Collaborate with Product Owners to clarify scope, refine the backlog, and ensure sprint and PI goals are met.
• Manage and track work, estimation, and team status using Azure DevOps (ADO).

Required Skills

• Significant experience as a Scrum Master or Release Train Engineer.
• Strong knowledge of the SAFe framework and implementation.
• Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO), JIRA, or Version One.
• Experience facilitating backlog grooming and estimation using Story Points.
• Foundational understanding of Data Engineering work and data product development.
• Experience with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) processes.
• At least one certification: CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe SSM, SAFe RTE, or SPC.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• Hands-on Data Engineering experience as a Data Analyst, Data Engineer, or Tester.
• Expertise in ADO including customized reporting via PowerBI.
• In-depth knowledge of Banking, Finance, or Investment business processes.
