Description

• Facilitate all Scrum ceremonies including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Drive Agile best practices and ensure adherence to Scrum principles across the team.
• Collaborate closely with Product Owners to maintain and prioritize the product backlog.
• Remove impediments and proactively address risks, dependencies, and blockers impacting delivery.
• Track and report Agile metrics such as Sprint Velocity, Burndown, Burnup, and Team Capacity.
• Coach and mentor team members, Product Owners, and stakeholders on Agile methodologies and continuous improvement practices.
• Foster a culture of transparency, accountability, collaboration, and high performance within the team.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution and timely delivery of project milestones.
• Support release planning, roadmap execution, and delivery governance activities.
• Work with stakeholders to align business priorities, project objectives, and sprint deliverables.
• Identify process improvement opportunities and drive Agile maturity across teams.
• Ensure effective communication between business stakeholders, product management, and development teams.
• Facilitate conflict resolution and promote a positive and productive team environment.
• Support resource planning, capacity management, and sprint forecasting activities.
• Maintain project documentation, dashboards, and status reporting using Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Contribute to organizational Agile transformation initiatives and adoption of best practices.

• 5-8 years of overall IT experience with at least 3+ years as a Scrum Master.
• Proven experience leading Agile Scrum teams in software development projects.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Lean methodologies.
• Experience facilitating Sprint Planning, Daily Standups, Sprint Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, and Confluence.
• Ability to remove impediments and drive team productivity.
• Experience working with Product Owners to manage and prioritize product backlogs.
• Strong communication, facilitation, coaching, and leadership skills.
• Experience in stakeholder management and project delivery governance.
• Agile mindset with a focus on team collaboration and continuous improvement.

Preferred Skills:

• Certified Scrum Master (CSM), PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, or equivalent Agile certification.
• Experience in scaled Agile frameworks (SAFe, LeSS, Nexus).
• Exposure to DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience managing distributed/global teams.
• Knowledge of Kanban and Lean methodologies.
• Understanding of cloud technologies (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Experience in financial, publishing, education, or enterprise application domains
