Description

Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, remove impediments, and coach the team on Agile best practices to achieve sprint goals.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Reviews, and Retrospectives.
• Remove impediments and shield the team from external distractions.
• Coach the team and stakeholders on Agile and Scrum principles.
• Work with the Product Owner to maintain a prioritized product backlog.
• Track progress using burndown charts, velocity, and other metrics.

Required Skills

• 3+ years of proven experience as a Scrum Master.
• Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PSM certification.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles, Scrum framework, and Kanban.
• Experience with cross-functional and distributed teams.
• Proficiency with Jira, Azure DevOps, or Confluence.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to drive teams toward self-organization.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in DOT or government projects.
• SAFe or Agile coaching experience.
