Description

You will lead a critical insurance domain project in Houston, TX, on-site. You manage a Scrum team, facilitating events and removing blockers to ensure delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily standups, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Support the product owner in maintaining and prioritizing the product backlog.
  • Coach the development team in self-organization and continuous improvement.
  • Remove obstacles blocking developer progress and protect the team from distractions.
  • Communicate project status to stakeholders and ensure alignment on sprint goals.

Required Skills

  • 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master leading agile teams.
  • Experience with Insurance domain projects, specifically annuities and mutual fund delivery.
  • Scrum Alliance Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP) certification.
  • Strong facilitation and coaching skills for cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders and inter-group teams.

Preferred Skills

  • PMP certification.
  • Professional security qualifications such as CISSP-ISSAP.
