Description

You will facilitate Agile ceremonies and drive delivery for large-scale enterprise or government IT projects.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Partner with Product Owners to maintain a prioritized product backlog.
• Track and communicate sprint metrics and performance indicators to stakeholders.
• Identify and resolve impediments and risks impacting delivery.
• Coach team members and stakeholders on Agile practices and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with DHHS policies, standards, and state/federal regulations.

Required Skills

• Minimum 12 years of IT project delivery experience.
• At least 7 years of experience as a dedicated Scrum Master.
• Scrum Master Certification (CSM, PSM, SAFe-SM, or equivalent) is required.
• Proven experience leading Agile teams on large-scale enterprise or government IT projects.
• Deep knowledge of Agile frameworks including Scrum, SAFe, and Kanban.
• Proficiency with Agile tools such as Jira, Rally, or Azure DevOps.
• Strong facilitation, coaching, and conflict resolution skills.
• Ability to work onsite 2 days per week in Lansing, MI.

Preferred Skills

• Prior experience with DHHS, public health, or government agencies.
• Experience in healthcare systems, Medicaid, or human services programs.
• Advanced certifications such as SAFe Program Consultant, PMI-ACP, or CSP-SM.
