Description
You will act as a Scrum Coach and facilitator for cross-functional software development teams, guiding Agile practices and removing impediments to enable sustainable delivery.
This role is on-site.
Responsibilities
- Guide teams on Agile/Scrum practices, values, and theory to improve process maturity.
- Facilitate daily scrums, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other key ceremonies.
- Coach teams toward self-organization and remove impediments blocking progress.
- Support Product Owners with backlog grooming, maintenance, and gap-filling patterns like bug handling.
- Assess scrum maturity and coach teams to improve at a sustainable pace.
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience with Agile, Scrum, or Kanban methodologies.
- At least 1 year of experience working specifically as a Scrum Master for cross-functional software development teams.
- First-level Scrum Master certification (CSM or PSM I).
- Proven ability to introduce Scrum to teams with limited prior Agile knowledge.
- Experience working in custom software development environments.
- Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
- Knowledge of patterns for filling gaps in the Scrum framework, including conflict resolution.
- Strong facilitation, servant leadership, and conflict resolution skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with manufacturing environments and ERP systems.
- Knowledge of Infor XA and IBMi.
