Roles & Responsibilities:

• Facilitate Scrum events as requested or needed, ensuring that the team adheres to Scrum principles and practices.
• Remove obstacles and impediments that hinder the Development Team's progress and productivity.
• Coach the Development Team in self-organization and cross-functionality, and coach the Product Owner in effective Product Backlog management techniques.
• Shield the Development Team from external interruptions and distractions to maintain focus.
• Help the organization understand and enact Scrum methodology across different teams and departments.
• Utilize knowledge of applications development procedures and concepts to identify and define necessary system enhancements.
• Consult with users, clients, and other technology groups on issues and recommend programming solutions.
• Apply fundamental knowledge of programming languages for design specifications and implementation requirements.
• Analyze applications to identify vulnerabilities and security issues, as well as conduct testing and debugging.
• Serve as advisor or coach to new or lower level analysts within the development team.
• Identify problems, analyze information, and make evaluative judgements to recommend and implement effective solutions.
• Act as Subject Matter Expert to senior stakeholders and other team members providing guidance and expertise.

Experience Required: 4+ years of relevant experience in the Financial Service industry with intermediate level experience in Applications Development role.

Education: Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience
