Description

Facilitate agile ceremonies and drive Scrum adoption to remove impediments and manage team dependencies.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Lead all agile ceremonies including daily scrums, sprint demos, retrospectives, backlog grooming, sprint planning, and PI planning.
• Remove impediments to team agility and guide escalation paths to prevent blockers.
• Own the Jira project, managing all issues and using burnup/down charts, release burndowns, and velocity metrics to assess team health.
• Protect the team from external disturbances and negotiate workload/capacity with Product Management and managers.
• Manage dependencies across other agile teams by collaborating with Program Managers, RTEs, and other Scrum Masters.

Required Skills

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Scrum Master in an IT or software development setting.
• Proficiency in Jira for managing scrum boards and generating capacity and velocity metrics.
• Experience coaching individuals and teams in Scrum processes and the "Inspect & Adapt" culture.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills for explaining technical and project information to stakeholders.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and team dependencies.
• PMI-ACP, CSM, or equivalent certification.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or equivalent work experience.

Preferred Skills

• 5+ years of working experience in agile environments.
• Experience with SAFe PI planning processes.
