Key Responsibilities
Agile Delivery Leadership
Serve as Scrum Master for one or multiple Agile teams delivering largescale technology and automation initiatives
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including Sprint Planning Sprint Reviews Backlog Refinement Release Planning etc
Ensure Agile best practices are consistently applied across teams
Perform PI planning ART Sync Scrum of Scrums and system demos
Manage crossteam dependencies risks and impediments across Agile Release Trains
Partner with Release Train Engineers RTEs Product Management and Technology Leadership to align execution with strategic objectives
Lead agile delivery for large programs in Risk management space
Stakeholder Management
Act as the primary liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams
Provide delivery transparency through regular status reporting metrics dashboards and executivelevel communications
Partner with Product Owners to ensure prioritized backlogs align with business objectives
Agile Coaching Mentoring
Coach teams Product Owners and stakeholders on Agile principles and SAFe methodologies
Promote Agile mindset adoption across business and technology organizations
Mentor junior Scrum Masters and Agile practitioners
Drive Agile maturity assessments and improvement initiatives
Delivery Governance Risk Management
Identify and proactively manage project risks dependencies and blockers
Escalate critical issues and facilitate resolution across organizational boundaries
Track and monitor Agile metrics including Velocity Sprint Burndown Lead and Cycle Time Predictability Metric etc
Ensure compliance with organizational governance risk and control standards
Required Qualifications
Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science Engineering Information Systems Finance or related discipline
15 years of overall experience in technology project delivery and Agile execution
Minimum 8 years of experience as a Scrum Master leading Agile teams in large enterprise environments
Strong experience working within Banking Capital Markets or Financial Services organizations
Required Experience
Agile SAFe Expertise
Deep understanding of Scrum SAFe Agile Principles Kanban etc
Experience supporting multiple Agile Release Trains ARTs
Proven success managing large distributed Agile teams across multiple geographies
Banking Risk Domain Experience
Strong preference for candidates with experience in one or more of the following areas
Risk Market Credit Liquidity CCR etc
Basel III Basel IV Programs Enterprise Data Management
Regulatory Reporting Risk Data Aggregation and Reporting BCBS 239
Technical Skills
Expertise with Agile management tools JIRA Confluence Rally etc
Strong understanding of SDLC and software delivery processes
Familiarity with modern technology architectures and data platforms Understanding of DevOps and CICD practices is highly desirable
Certifications
Required one or more CSM PSM or SAFe Scrum Master SSM
Preferred anyone SAFe Advanced Scrum Master SASM SAFe Agilist SA PMIACP or PMP
