Description

You will design, implement, and manage Software-Defined Wide Area Networks (SD-WAN) to optimize connectivity and performance across multiple locations.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions using Fortinet FortiGate and FortiManager, specifically leveraging ADVPN and mature SD-WAN features.
• Configure, update, and support security infrastructure requirements for client products, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
• Monitor network performance, troubleshoot connectivity issues, and act as the local point of contact for incidents and open support tickets.
• Perform PCAP and log analysis to debug VPNs, and maintain best practice diagnostic procedures for effective operations.
• Track hardware and software inventory, validate client configurations, and assist with software upgrade procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with Fortinet Secure SD-WAN, FortiGate firewalls, and FortiManager orchestration.
• Deep knowledge of SD-WAN and ADVPN functionalities on the FortiGate platform.
• Hands-on experience with Nexus switch configuration and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in Palo Alto and/or Firepower firewall configuration and troubleshooting.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot VPNs, including PCAP and log analysis.
• Experience with Cisco Spaces, Cisco Routers & Switches, and Cisco DNA.
• Knowledge of Cisco Wireless Controllers and 802.11 troubleshooting.
• Experience with Cherwell for problem or project ticket management.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Collaboration, Webex/Call Manager, or Cisco Contract Center configuration.
• Experience with Cisco Umbrella, ThousandEyes, or Viptela (Cisco SD-WAN).
• Linux proficiency and familiarity with cloud technologies/IaaS.
