Description

Design, implement, and manage SD-WAN solutions on FortiGate platforms, ensuring reliable connectivity and security across distributed sites.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage SD-WAN and ADVPN functionalities on FortiGate firewalls, orchestrating settings via FortiManager.
• Perform regular system updates, configuration validation, and maintenance of security infrastructure requirements.
• Troubleshoot network issues, debug VPNs, and conduct PCAP and log analysis to resolve incidents.
• Collaborate with customer personnel to investigate problems, manage tickets in Cherwell, and provide technical support.
• Track hardware and software inventory and assist with software upgrade procedures.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with SD-WAN technologies, specifically FortiGate Firewalls and ADVPN features.
• Proficiency in configuring Palo Alto and/or Firepower firewalls.
• Strong knowledge of Cisco Routers & Switches and Nexus switch configuration.
• Ability to debug and troubleshoot complex VPN connections.
• Experience with ticket management tools like Cherwell.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Cisco Viptela (Cisco SD-WAN) experience.
• Familiarity with Cisco DNA, Cisco Spaces, and wireless 802.11 troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of Linux and cloud IaaS technologies.
