Description

You will own the design, implementation, and maintenance of the SD-WAN network infrastructure.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure Palo Alto firewalls and gateways, including segmentation and policy management.
• Manage the migration of traffic and services from legacy WAN to the new SD-WAN infrastructure.
• Implement firewall changes to support access requirements while adhering to security policies.
• Maintain network hardware including routers, switches, client devices, and SD-WAN appliances.
• Create and maintain detailed documentation for network design, configuration, and operational processes.

Required Skills

• 7-10+ years of experience in Network Administration and Network Security.
• Hands-on experience implementing and migrating SD-WAN solutions, specifically Palo Alto Prisma.
• Proficiency with Palo Alto, Cisco switches, routers, and firewall devices.
• Deep understanding of routing protocols (BGP, OSPF), switching (VLANs), and WAN technologies (MPLS, internet circuits).
• Experience with AWS, Azure, and GCP cloud environments.
• Hold a network engineering certification equivalent to CCNP and Palo Alto Networks certifications (e.g., PCNSA, PCNSE).
• Hold a CompTIA Security+ certification.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools like Solarwinds and ServiceNow.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to communicate security and risk concepts effectively to technical and non-technical audiences.
