Description

You will design, implement, and optimize SD-WAN and Route/Switch network solutions.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Create High-Level and Low-Level designs for SD-WAN and multivendor LAN networks using Velo Edge and hardware appliances.
• Lead the delivery of network solutions including switches, firewalls, load balancers, and SD-WAN edge devices.
• Execute zero touch provisioning for SD-WAN edge devices and perform hardware and software upgrades.
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot customer-managed hardware, software, and peripheral devices.
• Monitor network performance and resolve technical issues to maintain stability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in network engineering.
• Hands-on experience designing and deploying Velo Cloud SD-WAN Edge and Route/Switch hardware.
• Proficiency in creating logical design models within VeloCloud Orchestra (VCO).
• Technical knowledge of routing protocols including OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP.
• Experience with network control protocols: QoS, PfR, PoE, NTP, and DHCP.
• Experience with network management protocols: CDP, FTP, VCMP, and SNMP.
• Experience with security protocols: SSH, HTTPS, AAA, IPSec, and TrustSec.
• Strong understanding of IP communication and routing.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with inter-company routing technology.
