Description

Design and build scalable distributed systems, including storage, indexing, and query solutions, within a large computing environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement solutions for broadly defined problems in an agile environment.
• Build scalable, fault-tolerant, and low-cost distributed storage and indexing systems.
• Create solutions for running predictions on distributed systems at scale.
• Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to conceive and deliver products to market.
• Handle ambiguous problems using abstract thinking and effective technical communication.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience (non-internship).
• Proficiency in Java, Python, C++, C#, or SQL.
• Experience with AWS Cloud tooling and distributed, multi-tiered systems.
• Strong knowledge of algorithms and relational databases.
• Understanding of optimization mathematics, including linear and nonlinear programming.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with prediction models on distributed systems.
