Description

You will own the development and evolution of our test automation strategy and frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Agile feature teams to define acceptance criteria and promote a test-first mindset.
• Build, maintain, and evolve test automation frameworks using Playwright and TypeScript for API and UI testing.
• Drive the migration from legacy frameworks (Selenium + Java, Postman/Newman) to unified automation integrated with CI/CD.
• Support feature teams with manual testing, including test case design and exploratory testing for unautomated workflows.
• Develop automated API tests (REST/SOAP) and execute SQL queries to validate data integrity.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on experience in software development or QA engineering.
• Expertise with Playwright or similar frameworks such as Cypress or Puppeteer.
• Proven migration experience from Selenium + Java or Postman to modern automation tools.
• Proficiency in TypeScript.
• Experience developing automated tests for REST/SOAP services.
• Familiarity with test case management tools like qTest or TestRail.
• Experience integrating tests into DevOps CI pipelines.
• Ability to write and maintain SQL queries for data validation.
