Description

You will own the test automation strategy and execution for complex software applications, translating business requirements into sustainable, high-quality solutions.

Responsibilities

• Translate business and system requirements into comprehensive test strategies, scenarios, and plans.
• Design, develop, document, and maintain automated test scripts and utilities using Object-Oriented languages.
• Validate RESTful web services and ensure end-to-end testing coverage for functional and regression cycles.
• Integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and adhere to BDD design concepts.
• Measure and report key QA metrics while collaborating with developers and architects to improve process standards.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in software test or Quality Engineering.
• 4+ years of hands-on software development in Java or Python.
• 5+ years of non-record-and-playback automation scripting experience.
• Expertise in validating RESTful web services using Rest Assured or Karate.
• Strong proficiency in PL/SQL for database testing and validation.
• Deep understanding of CI/CD concepts and experience with Jenkins pipelines.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud testing on AWS or Azure and containerization with Docker.
• Knowledge of Service Virtualization and non-functional testing methodologies.
