Description

You will lead the re-architecture and modernization of the end-to-end test automation framework.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect a complete redesign of the existing automation framework using modern design patterns.
• Define and implement organization-wide test automation strategies and standards.
• Build reusable, scalable automation libraries across UI, API, and backend layers.
• Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines to integrate automation into the delivery lifecycle.
• Lead technology evaluations and POCs to identify framework improvements.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Quality Engineering with at least 2 years in an Automation or Test Architect role.
• Proven experience designing and scaling test automation frameworks using Java, Kotlin, Python, or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, and TestNG/JUnit.
• Expertise in testing RESTful APIs and Microservices using Postman, REST Assured, or Karate.
• Deep understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) and design principles.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, GitOps, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and Azure DevOps.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with BDD tools like Cucumber or SpecFlow.
