Description

You will design and implement automated testing frameworks to ensure software quality across web and API layers. You own the full Software Testing Life Cycle, from planning and strategy to defect metrics.

Responsibilities

• Develop automation frameworks using TDD (JUnit), BDD (Cucumber), and Hybrid, Keyword Driven, or Data Driven patterns.
• Execute API automation using Rest Assured.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines and version control workflows.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver testing goals within Agile methodologies.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
• Strong proficiency in Java, Selenium, and Rest Assured for API automation.
• Experience with JavaScript, Jest, and PHP Laravel.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools such as Cypress, Appium, and TestNG.
• Proficiency in SQL queries and database management.
• Experience with DevOps tools including Jenkins, CI/CD pipeline setup, and GitHub or GitLab.
• Competency with build tools such as Maven, Gradle, or NPM.
• Experience using project management tools like Jira, qTest, ALM, or VersionOne.
• Knowledge of web servers such as Tomcat or Spring Boot.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud experience using AWS (EC2, S3, CodePipeline, CloudFormation), Azure, or OpenShift.
• Experience virtualizing services using WireMock or Mockito.
• Containerization knowledge with Docker.
