Description

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and maintain REST API automation frameworks using Java/Kotlin.
• Build automated test scripts, API test harnesses and server-side test coverage.
• Validate third-party partner integrations and backend services.
• Perform backend troubleshooting, defect triaging and root-cause analysis.
• Design and enhance internal automation tools/frameworks.
• Collaborate with development teams to ensure software quality.
• Support CI/CD automation and testing activities.

REQUIRED SKILLS

• 5+ years of hands-on Java/Kotlin development (current coding required).
• 5+ years of REST API Automation (REST Assured/Postman/TestNG/JUnit).
• Experience building automation frameworks from scratch.
• Strong backend/server-side testing and debugging skills.
• OOP concepts, Git, Maven/Gradle, SQL.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum.

PREFERRED SKILLS

• CI/CD (Jenkins/Azure DevOps/GitHub Actions).
• Docker/Kubernetes.
• Cloud-native application testing.
• BS/MS in Computer Science or related field.

• Active Individual Contributor (No Leads/Managers without daily coding).
• Strong Java/Kotlin coding with live coding interview readiness.
• Strong REST API automation and backend testing experience.
• Must be local to Austin, TX.
• 100% Onsite (No Remote/Hybrid).
